Luanda New International Airport covers an area of 1,324 hectares and has a dual runway design. The north runway is 4,200 meters long and the south runway is 3,800 meters long. It is the largest commercial airliner in the world (Airbus A2380). The passenger terminal of the new airport covers an area of 160,000 square meters and can handle 13 million passengers a year. The cargo building covers an area of 6.2 million square meters and can handle 35,000 tons of goods per year.
